Two short excerpts: “The First Air Mail,” by James G. Ray and “The St. Louis-Chicago Mail” by Charles Lindbergh

JOURNAL ACTIVITY: Keep a journal of your response to the provided prompts. Submit the journal entry assignment.
ASSESSMENT: Complete the assessment questions. One assessment question will require an audio submission.
DISCUSSION ACTIVITY: Participate in the discussion with your peers. One discussion question will require a video submission.
CONVERSATION STARTERS: You may use the conversation starters and sentence stems as an additional resource to help you answer the questions found in this lesson.
