Lesson introduction:
Global citizenship involves being an informed and rational participant in global, civic, and economic affairs. Journalism is a cornerstone of our society, and with modern technology like social media and smart devices, anyone can report the news. This lesson will introduce you to the responsibilities and analytical skills needed to be a journalist and an informed, involved citizen of the world.
