Workshop Scenario
As you complete this onboarding course, please think of yourself in the following scenario.
After learning more about 24/7’s vision, as your instructor shares their screen, you notice a whiteboard screen that says "24/7 network," in the middle. You begin to feel curious about what it means to be a member of this network.
The instructor then asks everyone to brainstorm opportunities and responsibilities that come with being a member of the 24/7 network. They assign you to a breakout session with 3 others. At first, you feel a bit nervous about participating in a brainstorming session with new people, but as you and your peers start to come up with ideas, you realize how comfortable you've become expressing your thoughts.
You begin to learn about the many opportunities available to grow and learn from others in the network. As you listen to the ideas of others and contribute your own, you start to feel motivated to connect with other members of the network and start contributing to the community.
As the breakout session comes to a close, your instructor brings everyone back to the main room. She assigns everyone a task to formally introduce themselves and connect with members of the 24/7 network. You feel a sense of excitement and anticipation as you look forward to reaching out to your fellow members and becoming an active participant in the 24/7 community.
Your next step is to formally introduce yourself and connect with fellow 24/7 Teach members in the network.
Your objective for today is to summarize 24/7 Teach’s network opportunities and responsibilities as a member, and complete various social media tasks.

2.4 New York Times Rule of Assignments
Here at 24/7 Teach, we like to use the New York Times rule as a company-wide mentality.
Try to think of all of your future work and social media posts created during your time as a 24/7 member. Now imagine you were told that all of your work was going to be placed on the front page of the New York Times newspaper or website. Would you be proud of your work? Perhaps apprehensive?
Whether you are working on projects or sharing your successes as a 24/7 team member, remember to always put your best work forward and that it reflects the Superstar you truly are! After all, you just never know who or where your work may end up.
