About This Program:

Are you a teacher looking to become an instructional designer?

This hands-on workshop will teach you how to design highly effective training and learning content—using methods that take into account learner needs, goals, and evaluation practices. You will dive into a foundation of learning theories and provide practical techniques for designing instructor-led training, online learning, or mobile learning—on any subject for any audience.

This training will guide you as an educator to become an effective instructional designer. You’ll focus on a real instructional design project—from goals and requirements to storyboarding and design. The principles and techniques covered apply to any type of instruction, from K-12 classrooms, colleges, and universities through professional training.

Attendance and Technology Requirements:

This workshop is available via one of our Virtual  Classrooms and can be accessed by any smart device with internet access.  (Learn and participate anywhere you can access the internet)

Program Duration:

  • 8 Weeks:

Approximate Time requirements per week:

  • 10 Hours: (Approximate time - Actual time is based on how efficiently you work)

    • One 1 hour live group class

    • 9 hours asynchronous assignments
