24/7 Teach — Mission-driven education. Human Led, AI Facilitated.

AI Developer Bootcamp for Teens (Ages 14–19)

In 10 weeks, your teen will ship full-stack AI apps and agent systems. A live, mentor-led bootcamp where teens learn Python, JavaScript, modern LLM stacks (OpenAI, Anthropic), RAG, tool use, multi-agent orchestration, and production deployment — the builder’s stack that every software team will pay for by 2030 — taught by working AI developers. You don’t have to teach a thing — we do.

Why families pick 24/7 Teach

  • $5.7M+ in scholarships earned by 24/7 Teach graduates.
  • 167 graduates — 100% college and career ready.
  • 100% Advanced job or college placement within 12 months on the Advanced career-track tier.

What your teen walks away with

  • The builder’s mindset. Your teen stops asking “what app should I download?” and starts asking “what system should I build?”
  • Fluency with modern LLM stacks. Python, JavaScript, OpenAI and Anthropic APIs, RAG, tool use, agent orchestration, evals — the work most adults still can’t ship.
  • A real portfolio. A shipped full-stack AI app or agent system for a real (or sandbox) company — the kind of artifact that opens doors to colleges and internships.
  • A certificate of completion from 24/7 Teach.
  • Discounted access to college counseling through our College and Career Readiness program.

What does an AI developer build?

An AI developer designs and ships software that uses large language models and agents to do real work — chat interfaces, retrieval-augmented tools, multi-agent systems, and full-stack apps that businesses and consumers actually use. Instead of writing every line of logic by hand, a modern AI developer orchestrates LLMs with tools, retrieval, evals, and production guardrails — so the software can plan, take actions, and use other software on a user’s behalf.

The developer becomes the architect of an AI stack — choosing the model, designing the prompts, supplying the data, building the evals, and shipping the production system — rather than coding every behavior themselves. By 2030, most software roles will assume AI-stack fluency the way today’s roles assume Git. This bootcamp teaches teens how to design, build, and ship those systems before the rest of the workforce learns the vocabulary.

What your teen will learn

  1. Python and JavaScript fundamentals for AI developers.
  2. Calling modern LLM APIs — OpenAI and Anthropic, chat, streaming, structured outputs.
  3. Full-stack AI app development — FastAPI/Express + React/Next.js, deployed to Vercel or Netlify.
  4. Tool use and function calling — letting the LLM call your code reliably.
  5. Retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) — embeddings, vector stores, retrieval pipelines.
  6. Agent design — planning loops, multi-step reasoning, agent-level evals.
  7. Multi-agent systems — orchestrators, handoffs, and specialized agents working together.
  8. Production essentials — auth, rate limits, observability, cost tracking, safety guards.
  9. Shipping a real full-stack AI app or agent system for a real (or sandbox) client.

The 10-week curriculum (plus 10-month Advanced track)

Week 1 · Foundations

Python, JavaScript, environment setup. First LLM API call. Prompt structure and structured outputs.

Week 2 · Chat interfaces

Streaming responses, conversation history, persistence. The patterns behind every production chat app.

Week 3 · Full-stack basics

FastAPI/Express backend, React/Next.js frontend, deploying to Vercel or Netlify. Shipping your first end-to-end AI app.

Week 4 · Tool use & function calling

Letting the LLM call your code. Building tools your agent can use.

Week 5 · Retrieval-augmented generation (RAG)

Embeddings, vector stores, retrieval pipelines. Why “give it the docs” is more important than “find the right prompt.”

Week 6 · Agent design

Planning loops, multi-step reasoning, evals, prompt engineering at the agent level.

Week 7 · Multi-agent systems

Orchestrators, handoffs, specialized agents working together.

Week 8 · Production essentials

Auth, rate limits, observability, cost tracking, safety guards.

Week 9 · Capstone build

Ship a real full-stack AI app or agent system for a real (or sandbox) client.

Week 10 · Capstone ship & critique

Live pitch + critique + portfolio polish. Graduation.

Months 3–10 · Advanced apprenticeship and paid internship

Placement with a working AI development team, agency, or startup. Real client agent and AI-app pipelines. 10 career-coaching sessions. Job-placement guarantee for eligible graduates.

What a Tuesday-night session actually looks like

Every cohort meeting follows the same five-block rhythm. The structure is intentional — emotional grounding first, then the work, then a life skill that travels home with your teen.

  1. Wellness check-in. Each teen shares a quick state-of-the-week. Mentors read the room before any technical work starts.
  2. Reflection check-in. A targeted question on the previous week’s assignment — what worked, what broke, what surprised them.
  3. Outcome presentations. Teens present the work they shipped since last session. Mentors and peers give critique in the open.
  4. New assignment & Q&A. The mentor frames the next assignment, walks through any new concept, and answers questions live.
  5. Check-out with a 24/7 Life tip. Every session ends with a small, transferable habit or insight that travels home from the cohort to the rest of the teen’s week.

Frequently asked questions

How is this different from a free YouTube AI coding course or just using ChatGPT?

Live mentorship from working AI developers (not a passive video), real-world projects building full-stack AI apps and agent systems for actual companies your teen scopes, and accountability — every milestone is reviewed, every cohort is 8–12 teens, every parent gets progress updates. ChatGPT is a tool; this bootcamp teaches your teen to design and ship the software that uses tools like it. We also stand behind every tier with a written money-back guarantee.

What age range is this for?

The core program is built for teens 14–17. Mature 13-year-olds and post-grad teens up to 19 are welcome. Adults 19+ may enroll on the Advanced tier only.

How much time per week will my teen need?

Essentials is 2–3 hours per week. Elevate is 3–5 hours per week including the 1:1 sessions. Advanced is 8–12 hours per week over 10 months, scoped around school.

Will AI replace developers? Why teach this to my teen?

AI won’t replace developers — but developers who build with AI will replace developers who don’t. Your teen graduates with portfolio proof they can design, deploy, and ship AI agent systems and full-stack apps — which is exactly what hiring managers, college admissions, and entrepreneurial customers will pay for.

Does my teen need to know how to code?

Some Python and JavaScript familiarity helps but isn’t required for Essentials. We teach the patterns from scratch and use modern AI tools as scaffolding. Elevate and Advanced students go deeper into framework code, APIs, and production patterns.

Who actually teaches the sessions?

Each cohort is co-led by a working AI developer (the mentor) and a 24/7 Teach educator (the facilitator). Mentors ship production AI apps and agent systems for real companies today.

What does the job or college placement guarantee cover?

Available on the 10-Month Advanced tier. Within 12 months of graduating, 100% of eligible career-track graduates either land a job in their new field, earn a college acceptance, or receive a full refund. Full terms in the enrollment agreement.

What if my teen tries it and it’s not a fit?

A $200 registration fee is non-refundable. Beyond that, cancel within 7 days of enrollment for a full refund of tuition. After that, every tier still carries our Learn–Do–Be guarantee.

Can my teen do this alongside school, sports, and SAT prep?

Yes. Essentials and Elevate are designed for busy families. Sessions are evenings and weekends. Every lesson is recorded.

Do you offer scholarships or financial aid?

Yes — limited need-based seats each cohort, plus sibling and group-of-three discounts.
