The shape of the journey changes by tier. Essentials runs 10 weeks, Elevate runs 12 weeks, Advanced runs 10 months and folds in 30 1:1 sessions and a larger community-service initiative.
Weeks 1–2
Onboarding
Goal-setting workshop, plus the first 1:1 with your teen's assigned mentor to scope a personal project alongside the cohort work.
Weeks 3–6
Five-skill sprint
Leadership, confidence, communication, time, and money taught in parallel. Real budgets, real calendars, recorded talks reviewed by mentors. 1:1s tune the work to the teen.
Weeks 7–9
Community service project
A full community-service project — fundraiser, tutoring program, or campaign — that puts the five skills into one place with stakes.
Week 10
Stage showcase
Stage-and-spotlight final talk to family, mentors, and graduates. Portfolio, certificate, and Career Skills discount.

Before your teen joins a cohort.
The questions we hear most on first calls — answered here so when we talk, we can spend the time on your teen, not on logistics.
How are sessions delivered?
Every cohort session runs on Zoom — small groups of 8–12 teens, two mentors, recorded so your teen can rewatch any session. The capstone community-service project happens in your teen's own town. We do not host in-person classes.
Will my teen actually use these skills?
The community-service project is the pressure test. Every graduate ships one — a fundraiser, a tutoring program, a school campaign — and uses all six skills in public, with stakes. That's where the change locks in.
My teen is shy. Will the group format work?
Yes — the group is the medicine. Cohorts are kept small (8–12 teens) and mentors are trained to bring quieter teens into the conversation gradually. Most parents tell us the change shows up at home before it shows up in group.
How is this different from a school leadership club?
A school club meets when there's time. We meet every Tuesday, every cohort, with a structured curriculum, real-world projects, and mentors who follow up 1:1. It's the difference between a hobby and a habit.
What's the right age to start?
We open enrollment at 11. Most families start between 11 and 14 — younger teens get the longest runway, but the curriculum scales up to 17 if your teen joins later.
Is the mental health module therapy?
No. It's peer skill-building led by trained mentors — language for feelings, healthy screen and friendship boundaries, focus and resilience habits. When a teen needs clinical support, we tell you and we refer out. We do not diagnose or treat.
Can my teen continue into Career Skills after?
Yes — and most do. Life Skills graduates get a discount on Career Skills enrollment and skip the foundations module so they can dive straight into a track.
What does my teen graduate with?
A certificate of completion, a portfolio of project work and recorded talks, a discount on Career Skills and College Counseling, and our free e-book Teen Social Skills 101.
What is the refund policy?
