Workshop Scenario:

Please think of yourself in the following scenario as you complete this workshop:

You are a student who is interested in pursuing a career in technology. You have always been fascinated by the way technology impacts our daily lives and want to learn more about how software and apps are designed to make our interactions with technology more seamless and intuitive.

You are almost through with your workshop. Your final step is to combine and apply everything you’ve learned to create a conclusive project.

You will be working on your Final project for this lesson.

Lesson Objective:

Your objective today is to create a final cumulative presentation displaying and describing each component of your app in full detail.

Lesson 9: Introduction to UX/UI Design Workshop Project

Final Project: Your turn to show what you know

In this project, you will have the opportunity to apply the principles of UX and UI design that you have learned throughout all the lessons of this workshop. You will complete your presentation describing how you are designing an app. Your presentation should now incorporate all the objectives covered in lessons 1-9. You’ll be adding to the presentation that you submitted in lesson 4.
You will be evaluated on the clarity and effectiveness of your presentation, the quality of your design work, and your ability to apply the principles of user experience and user interface design to your app.

Your complete presentation should be 10-12 slides and must include the following:

Visual Design: Describe which design elements you included and why.
Prototype: Present a sample of a low-fidelity sketch and explain what your high-fidelity prototype would look like.
Testing: Describe which qualitative or quantitative method (or a combination of both) you would use to test your app.
Feedback: Explain which user feedback method you would use and how it would help improve your app.

Project Steps:

Step 1: Review lessons 5-8. Identify the information you want to include in your presentation.

Step 2: Outline your information and brainstorm your thoughts and ideas.

Step 3: Using Google Slides/PowerPoint, continue your previous presentation which will now include your app components based on the points mentioned above. Your final presentation should be around 10-12 slides.

Step 4: Share with your family and friends for feedback.
