  • Create a LinkedIn self-advocacy post that highlights their expertise, values, and alignment with 24/7 Teach’s mission.


 

3.1 Is Your Post New York Times Worthy?

Imagine that The New York Times printed all of your social media posts on its front page. Would they print it if it wasn’t high quality and didn’t provide value to its readers? Absolutely not.

Whether working on projects or sharing successes, team members should always share their best work. After all, one never knows who might see that post—it could result in a job offer.

    • Engaging and Thought-Provoking Content: The post should offer valuable insights, reflect deep thinking, or provide a unique perspective on relevant industry topics.

    • Well-Written and Professional: Use clear, concise language with proper grammar and punctuation, maintaining a professional tone while being approachable.

    • Supported by Data or Real Examples: Include facts, data, or real-life examples to back up your points, adding credibility and making the post informative and trustworthy.

    • Increases Professional Visibility: Regular posts keep you top of mind for your network, helping to expand your reach and attract opportunities from potential employers, collaborators, or clients.

    • Builds Credibility and Thought Leadership: Consistent, high-quality posts showcase your expertise, helping you establish yourself as a knowledgeable and trusted professional in your field.

    • Strengthens Networking Opportunities: By engaging with others’ posts and sharing your own, you foster meaningful connections, making it easier to network and build relationships within your industry.

 

 

3.2 The Brand Ambassador Role

24/7 Teach encourages every team member to develop advocacy skills as a Brand Ambassador. In this role, you will create value for yourself, your teammates, and the organization.


By posting regularly on social media, Brand Ambassadors:

  • Forge stronger team relationships

  • Increase visibility to employers

  • Build self-confidence

  • Promote 24/7 Teach’s brand

Social Media Expectations

Timing:

  • Minimum of 2 x week

  • Minimum of 1 LinkedIn or X (Twitter) post

Content:

  • Post 1: Promote work on a current assignment, asking for feedback and encouraging discussion. 

  • Post 2: Comment on a 24/7 Team member’s post.

  • Posting more than twice per week is recommended, but optional.
