Our refund policy is simple.
There are two ways your tuition is protected: a 14-day cancellation window that opens when your cohort starts, and outcome-based guarantees that run for the life of your program.
1. The 14-day cancellation window
Your window starts on your cohort start date — not the day you enroll.
Your cohort begins with orientation, and orientation runs on the first and third Tuesday of the month. That orientation date is your cohort start date and the day your window opens, so there is usually a gap between the day you pay and the day you begin. That gap does not count against you. You get a full two weeks inside the program — orientation plus your first live sessions — to decide whether it is right for you.
If it is not, you cancel and we refund the tuition you paid, less the $200 non-refundable registration fee. Every registration includes that fee — it is part of your tuition, not an extra charge, and it is the only amount withheld if you cancel.
- We confirm your exact deadline in writing. Admissions sends you the calendar date when your orientation is scheduled, so you never have to work it out yourself.
- If you enroll after your cohort has already started, your window runs 14 days from your enrollment date instead. You always get the later of the two.
- If we move your cohort start date, your window moves with it. Our scheduling will never shorten your time to decide.
- If we cancel your cohort and cannot offer you a replacement you accept, you get everything back — the full amount you paid, including the $200 registration fee. That is not a cancellation on your part, so nothing is withheld.
- How to cancel: email admissions@247teach.org before your deadline. You do not need to give a reason, and nobody will try to talk you out of it.
- How you are paid back: to your original payment method.
- If you paid over time with Klarna: we refund to Klarna, less the $200 registration fee. Klarna then cancels or adjusts your remaining scheduled payments and settles any difference with you directly. You do not need to contact them first — cancel with us and the refund flows back the same way it came.
- If you financed through Flexxbuy: your loan is a separate agreement with the lender, not with us. We refund the tuition we received, less the $200 registration fee, and that refund is applied against your loan. Your repayment terms are set by the lender, so contact them about anything the refund does not cover.
- How long it takes: approved refunds leave our account within 15 business days, and we send you a status update on business day five whether or not there is news to share. Your bank may take a few days more to post it.
Cancellations are a simple reversal, so they move fast. A guarantee claim is a different process with its own timeline — see section 4 below.
2. Want a different cohort instead of a refund?
Take one. You can move to any later cohort once, at no cost, any time up to the halfway point of your program. Just email admissions@247teach.org.
Scheduling conflicts are the most common reason people leave, and if the program is right but the timing is not, a transfer solves that better than a refund does. Your tuition and your place carry over intact.
What a transfer does to your refund window: if you transfer while your window is still open, the window moves with you and reopens for a full 14 days from your new cohort’s orientation date. If you transfer after your window has already closed, it does not reopen — the transfer is a scheduling change at that point, not a fresh start.
3. If something serious happens
A documented medical emergency, military deployment, or death or serious illness in your immediate family gets you a full refund or a free deferral at any point in the program. There is no deadline on this, and you will not be asked to make a case for it.
4. After the 14-day window: our outcome-based guarantees
Past the window, your program is covered by an outcome-based guarantee rather than a cancellation refund. Depending on your program, that is:
- the Learn-Do-Be Guarantee, on every program;
- the Job-Placement Guarantee, on our advanced career bootcamps; and
- the College-Acceptance Guarantee, on our advanced college-counseling tracks.
These guarantees are not the same as the 14-day cancellation. Each one has its own eligibility requirements, and we give you those requirements in writing at the start of your program. If you meet them and do not reach the agreed milestones, you receive a tuition waiver under the terms of that guarantee. The full terms, including what you need to do to stay eligible, are on our Career Services Guarantee page.
A guarantee claim is paid within 30 days rather than 15 business days, because unlike a cancellation it requires verifying your completion and placement record, and it may involve third-party financing or an outside lender.
What this policy covers
This policy covers individual enrollments in our teen and adult programs — the ones you buy for yourself or for your child on this site.
It does not govern organizational agreements: school, district, and enterprise engagements, professional-development packages, and any partnership contracted directly with 24/7 Teach. Those are governed by the written proposal and agreement you sign with us, which set their own cancellation and refund provisions. Your scoping proposal states them before you commit. If you are not sure which applies to you, email admissions@247teach.org.
Your state's rights
This policy does not limit any refund or cancellation rights you may have under the law of the state where you live.
