Workshop Scenario:
Please think of yourself in the following scenario as you complete this workshop.
You are a teenager who constantly struggles with expressing yourself, managing your time, and forming meaningful connections. You often find it challenging to convey your thoughts and ideas, leading to frustration and a lack of confidence. Balancing schoolwork, responsibilities, and social interactions feels overwhelming, leaving you yearning for guidance and support.
That's precisely why you made the decision to enroll in 24/7 Teach's Communications and Organization Workshop. You recognized that it's time to tackle these challenges head-on and develop the essential skills to overcome them. By immersing yourself in this workshop, you're taking a proactive step towards personal growth, improved communication, and increased confidence in navigating your daily life.
In the previous lesson, you revisited the gist of the lessons that built you communication and organization skills. You reviewed the basic skills and tips to become a better communicator. You also had some more drill to prepare you for this final project.
As you wrap up the 24/7 Teach training with your newfound knowledge and resources, you feel ready to showcase your superb communication skills.
Today, you will prepare and deliver a public speach.
Your objectives for today are:

Prepare and deliver a 3-5 minute mini-speech on a given topic, applying the principles of effective communication learned during the presentation.
Critically assess their use of presentation techniques, identify areas of improvement, and reflect on their learning journey.
Lesson 9 - Final Project
Now for the fun part! You will prepare a mini-speech on the benefits of being a great communicator.
Prepare a 3-5 minute presentation using the tips we've learned.
During this session, you’ll present your mini-speech. Sounds exciting, right?
Remember, it’s not about being perfect. It’s about learning, growing, and most importantly
Let's break down your assignment into easy steps:
Research your topic: Gather some interesting facts and insights about your topic. This will help you become more confident while speaking.
Structure your speech: Create a beginning (introduce your topic), middle (share your facts and insights), and end (wrap up your points and maybe share why this topic is important to you).
Practice, practice: Practice in front of a mirror, your family, or even your pet! Use a clear and confident voice, and ensure you're comfortable with what you're saying.
Prepare a visual aid: This could be a picture, a diagram, or a prop related to your topic. Remember, this should support your speech, not take over it.
Record yourself delivering your speech together with your visual aid. You may use any software that would allow you to share your screen and record yourself while you deliver your speech.
And there you have it! Public speaking might seem a little daunting initially, but with practice and preparation, you'll be commanding the room in no time.
The most important thing is to enjoy the process and learn from it. So, are you ready to share your ideas with the world?
Keep speaking, keep shining!
Remember, you are learning and growing. Celebrate your efforts and progress. Keep speaking, keep sharing, and, most importantly, keep believing in yourself!
As you finalize this comprehensive project, you're not only presenting your mastery and advancement in the realm of communications and organizational training but also embracing a chance to introspect and impart insights to those intrigued by this domain. Best of luck!
